Antero Resources is an independent exploration and production (E&P) company engaged in the acquisition, development, and production of unconventional natural gas resources in the United States. Unconventional play types for Antero include fractured shales and tight sands. Corporate headquarters are located in Denver, Colorado.
Antero has properties in the Appalachian Basin in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, the Piceance Basin in Colorado, and the Arkoma Basin in Oklahoma. Antero currently has approximately 325 MMcf per day of gross operated production or 305 MMcfe per day net including non-operated production. The net daily production figure includes approximately 3,500 Bbls per day of natural gas liquids (NGLs) and oil.
